Candidate Development Institute (CDI) participants recently completed the six-week course held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each Tuesday, September 19 -October 24 at the Alliance, 510 Main Street.
Those who met attendance requirements graduated from the Institute on October 24. Participants heard over 12 speakers on an array of subjects to help better prepare them to run for office or assist in a campaign.
CDI, coordinated by the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce and in association with Go Forward Pine Bluff, was designed to offer training in the basics of organizing and implementing a campaign for public office. This program was made possible in part by a grant from the Pine Bluff Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of Arkansas Community Foundation.
